Epsom salts and loaches=???

is this a bad mix?
I know aquarium salt is bad?
but would epsoms be the same?
When i re put them back in the tank. I accidently put them in with epsom salts in it. with no apparent ill effects. These fish were in the tank before but were moved to clean up a snail problem.
I just dont want the hassle of moving all my fish.. to give them an epsom salt bath...
The fish which i think are constipated will not take pea's. And i heard brine shrimp laxative in sorts but i am out.

I don't think epsom salt has that affect on fish. I use it to increase the general hardness of my tap water for my African cichlids, 1 Tsp/5 gallons of water.
