Broadleaf chain sword (Echinodorus quadricostatus) used to be my favorite plant. Nice bright green color and prominent strap like leaves. At first I could barely keep it alive and with better lights and CO2 it grew. And grew. And grew. I would remove the runners each week and the parent plants would respond by growing taller and the leaves would reach the surface ( in a 20g long). Eventually I removed it and gave a ton of it away and put the rest outside in a small pond.
Here it is along the rear/right side of the tank.
