Feeders died as soon as got home

I got 10 fresh feeders for my oscar from the nearby LFS and after floating them for nearly 15 minutes, I poured them into my 6 gal eclipse tank that I just vacated 2 convicts from and they ALL died within 2 minutes.:(
Whats up with that.:confused: Thats a first!
Oscar didnt even get a taste.

it could be the water levels or they got shocked from going into new levels of ph ammonia, nitrite, etc. another thing to do is when u get them add some of your water to the bag u get them in. also the fish could of been bad :grab::whip::whip:
 
Feeders are usually kept in pretty poor conditions in the LFS. Adding them to a clean tank may result in old tank syndrome. Drip acclimating your feeders might help.
