feeding m. auratus

I am currently feeding my auratus cichlids a spirulina flake food and would like to vary their diet a bit, what is a good mix or variety of foods to feed m auratus to give max nutrition

NLS cichlid formula is all I feed my africans.

after reading some of the forums about nls it seems like a good quality food, but my only concern is does the food cover the vegitative needs of the auratus? As in is the protein content suitable and not at a level that could cause bloat?

it is balanced so that it has enough protein for some of the more carnivorous fish, yet not too much for the malawi fish to handle. never had bloat with any of my mbuna on NLS
