Hi, i have my 55g up and running for about 5 months now. Everything great, waters tests are good. I have a Tetratec EX700 filter, running standard media and purigen. About a week ago i was cleaning the inlet/outlet pipes and after i re-installed them i noticed a small leak on the inlet. Found a tiny crack, Tetra sending a replacement tomorrow(Mon 26th). Anyway the filter has been switched off since last Sat. Will the bacteria still be ok inside or will some/all of them have died. I have a 1000lph internal running since Sat-water clear but a lot of algae growing since..Any help will be welcome....Ian
