Dont have one but many of the reviews for it are not great. I thought about getting one because they are cheap. Then I saw that it only flows 132 gallons per hour. I went with a cascade 1000 instead that was only $10 more and does 265 gph.

Never used one but always heard mixed reviews. Most were not good.

Seems like a gimmick to sell the quick-change media. One of the best aspects of a canister filter is the ability to customize the media and DIY. From what I've seen of the API NEXX there is a lot of specialized product for the NEXX and I'm not sure you can just throw whatever you want in there.

Looks more expensive in the long run.
