Filtering Strategy for multiple 10g tanks?

I have purchased four 10g tanks and need to decide on filtration. I am very partial to aquaclear filters and am willing to HOB each tank but wondering if that is practical. Since these tanks are intended as livebearer fry grow-outs, each will be mininally scaped with probably no more than a sand substrate and a few low light plants. Maybe not planted at all (I want some algae to grow though). How would you filter this setup?

Yes this would be the best route, it's cheap, easy to maintain, and best of all works perfectly.
