Somehow I always get stuck with fin nippers. I have 2 silver dollars and one has eaten the fins off the other. I have plenty of spots for him to hide in the tank, but he just won't hide. I only have those 2 fish in there and 2 leopard bush fish in the tank. It's 80 gallons. I just haven't gotten around to adding more fish. Could adding more fish possibly help? Should I add more silver dollars? Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Adding 3 - 4 more silver dollars may solve the problem. They are schoolers and do like company. Your 80 gallon should be able handle the load and it would make a nice display.

I went and bought 4 more silver dollars today. They are a bit smaller, but I thought I would take a chance considering the larger ones were 2 more bucks each. So far they all seem to be hanging out nicely. What other fish are compatible with silver dollars?
