First time saltwater,need help!!!

Hello everyone,im new at this saltwater world and im gonna need some help.
I bought a 14g Bio Cube and did what they told me at the fish store.I did the water,added the salt then the live gravel 15 mil of water conditioner and i let it sit for couple days.I took a read today with the hydrometer and its all the way up, how do i get it to go down again to 1.024?I added 7 cups of salt like they told me but i have no idea what i did wrong.

Hi! What you'll need to do is replace some of the sw with regular fresh water (no salt). Do this slowly and you over time it will go down!

Are you using RODI?

And i'd duggest you purchase a refractometer. It is much more accurate than a hydrometer!

Not tap. It will cause algae issues at some point. Use distilled if yore not going to use rodi.
