Fish and eggs id

My friend has three of these fish and one is guarding a parch of eggs on the glass,
I don't know the type of fish or whether these eggs belong to it, they may be snail eggs.

Can anyone help out?

Although I've never had anything to do with breeding Yellow Damselfish, I would suspect they are very similar to their cousins, clownfish. Which means they would have to be removed from the tank and raised in a different system and fed rotifers. I doubt there is much call for Damselfish breeders, but I could be wrong.
