The fin looks like a yellow labs', but he just started getting the blue on his face. It's also the most aggressive in the tank.

I remember reading an article here that describe a fish that turned blue as it matured, but i dont remember which fish it was and i cant find the article.

The body shape is all wrong to be a yellow lab I think it could very well be a malawi golden cichlid the females are yellow males are blue. Females take on darker colors when dominating a tank they are very aggressive fish my sister in law had one and it turned black one day and ended up killing one of her other fish almost. Hope that helps

Oh okay see where I live my pet stores all have them labeled as Malawi goldens I knew they had another name my pet store also sold me a fish today that I am finding impossible to ID
