Fish Stuck?

I think my catfish is stuck in a hole in my driftwood. I didn't even know there was a hole there. His tail is sticking out but that is it. He wiggles from time to time like he is trying to get out. I have no idea how long he has been like that. What should I do?

What kind of catfish? He may not be stuck, you can try touching his tail and see if he can move freely in the hole. You may have to move the driftwood to allow yourself a better view.

Bristlenose catfish. Here is a picture. Sorry for the poor quality. He seems to have gotten more of himself out as I can see the fins now. Maybe he will figure it out on his own.

I would leave him be for a bit. He may not be stuck he may be hiding. Keep an eye on him.

He is out

A little gentle shaking and he came out. I don't think he was truly stuck just hiding from the crazy cories.
