Hi all,
Gah!....the unthinkable happened! I had hitchhikers on one of my live plants and just a few days ago I noticed tiny snails. They are very small, the largest I saw being maybe 3-4mm. I scooped out the two that were large enough, and wiped two tiny ones off the pump tubing and a microscopic one off a rock.
I would rather not have these guys in my tank. I have read several suggestions on how to control snails but I was hoping there was a more effective way of completely eradicating both snails and eggs since I do not yet have any fish in my tank. It is a 3.5 gallon tank so carnivorous fish are not an option. It is an acrylic aquarium and I have 4 small plants.
Thanks!
