I read that before, but i know theres some debate on weather they need 40/50 gallons to roam around

i housed one in a 30 gallon he did great until i introduced a powerhead which literally scared him to death kind of a random occurrence but it happens. Great fish to keep.

I am thinking about getting a flame fish myself and found they are good in a 30 gal or bigger tank.They do like to adventure through live rock so make sure you have plenty.

1 royal gramma

Thats a lot of fish in a 30. You will have to really keep up with water changes. But do able.
