Hey,
So since Roydooms requested i am going to be doing a profile on a plant called flame moss.
Description
This moss is an interesting one that grows up and twists while growing. It is an excellent choice on moss it will attach to all rough surfaces and completely cover it in time. They can withstand many different water conditions and being particular over it is not necessary, also co2 (Corbon Dioxide) is not needed. If breeding fish its excellent because its a natural environment for fish fry to hide.
Growth & Lighting
The best Ph for this plant is 5.8 - 7.5. Also temperature is 75 - 84 F. Its a rather slow growing plant but that is over looked but the beauty of it. Lighting from low to high is acceptable and will grow even better with a co2 injected tank. But as stated this is not necassary because it can grow in poor conditions. This plant will grow best if attached to something like driftwood, rocks, filter intakes and even a moss wall. But a thing called the moss carpet will work the best with this type of moss. Here is a link to get to it http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f24/jeffs-experimental-carpet-20-long-journal-139637.html.
So on final word this kind of moss is and awesome choice for anything!
