How much flow would you reccommend for this size tank?

This tank completed a fishless cycle last week and we purchased a yellowtail damsel to just keep it cycled. It's a fun fish to watch, though. If we decide to keep the damsel what other fish, inverts, or corals could we do in this size tank?

What would you suggest for lighting once we're ready to begin adding corals?

The first thing I would do is trade the damsel in. They may look nice and are fun to watch, but my history with damsels isn't great. They get very aggressive and territorial. I have a 28g so I'm not sure what to suggest for your other questions!

I would also get rid of the damsel, he will bully any other fish you add. Here are my 3 suitable for your tank - purple firefish (active swimmer), rainsfords goby (eats the algae) and gold striped cardinal (stays up all night)

That I am not sure of, these guys are in my 55 with a few other tank mates. Depending on your filtration I would say it was possible to do all three if you monitored your water carefully.
