fluoride, does it mess with fish?

Talking about adding the stuff to our water supply...
Whats the deal with it?
Is it bad for the fish?

in the water supply here its been added for years and ive never herd anything bad because of it and its caused me no problems to my knoledge

Fluoride is added to the water system to help minimize tooth decay. I am pretty sure that the fluoride in the water system won't hurt fish

And it makes their teeth strong too!

Fluoride is harmful to fish in excess, but the amount found in tap water should not be harmful. It is found in our salt mixes at varying quantities. R/O treatments remove some fluoride from the water.
