Foot Ball Discus

Hey Brian,I went to the LFS today and saw a really beautiful discus .So I bought him. The only problem is he look like a foot ball.I remmber that you have told me about it.But won`t he get his natural look back?

No, he won't Mack. You purchased a runt. There's really nothing wrong with the fish except it won't ever grow to its full size.

One thing I've discovered about runts is, they are hardy. Guess they have to be.
How many discus did you buy?

6 discus is great Mack. If it makes you feel any better, I kept my runt. It's as happy as all the rest so I figured what the heck, I'll try and keep it that way. Just realize it probably won't grow as much as your others do.
