frag discs

A pretty basic question. On the Frag Discs there are two sides. One is very smooth and the other is very rough. when fragging corals which side do you glue the coral to, or does it matter? The rough side or the smooth side. I have a piece of green digi that broke off and will make a perfect frag.

I've always had better luck with rough textured surfaces rather than smooth.

Same here. Though I have done it to either side. I guess it's what ever works best when you go to glue it down.

The glue would stick better to the rough side.
