Hey guys I have a planted freshwater blue cherry shrimp tank and I have noticed a freshwater bristleworm in my substrate but can't find much info on it. Most sites only speak of saltwater bristle worms. Does anybody know if these are safe or unsafe to have? There only appears to be 1 about 5cm long

I didn't know that there was a freshwater example of bristle worms, but I'm not suprised. If they're anything like the marine version, having them will suck. They spread quickly and will teach you not to put your hand in your substrate. The ones I had were about 1/4 inch long with retractable, glass-like spines along its sides. (shiver-gag)
