is it ok for me to trim my frogbite's roots? they are starting to take over my tank

Is this the floating amazon frogbit? I would just scoop it out, it'll eventually grow back again if you leave some in.

Yes you can trim the roots I have to do it on a weekly schedule else the roots take over my tank

Just make sure you leave some roots and don't cut them were the v shaped part is were other leaves join
