Hello,
I have 3 balloon molly fry that look big enough to be moved out of the breeders net, but I'm not so sure yet.
They are 5 weeks old and are the biggest of 6 total fry.
I've read that they are safe as long as they don't fit in the mother's mouth.
Question is how do I know exactly how big her mouth is if I can't see inside her mouth?
I want to move them since they are developing slowly in the breeders net and the biggest one is attacking the smaller fry.
info: 6 fry, 1 female balloon molly (due to give birth), and 2 peppered cory catfish.
