Looking for advice on what media to use for my Fluval FX6, 75 gallon tank with a few little fish in there now...I'm currently running it with top tray having sponges and 1 nylon bag of carbon and a nylon bag of zeocarb (to help with smell/ammonia). Second tray is full of Biomax. Third tray has some more biomax but also has two different water polishing pads to help with clarity...am I doing it right? Anyone else have a FX6 and success with it?

If you biofilter is well-established, you shouldn't need the zeocarb. Is it still cycling? Also, replacing carbon can get expensive. If you want chemical filtration, I recommend Purigen. It last much longer than carbon, can be reused, and does a great job.
