Garlic soaked food

I am trying to convince my picky oscar to change from his cheap pellets(Wardley) to decent pellets (NorthFin) and he is having nothing to do with it. Someone suggested soaking in garlic & I am looking for instructions on how to do this.

Never heard of this, but it sounds neat. Have you googled it? I had an oscar years ago and fed it the same Wardley pellets and tubefix worms for a treat. Most of its diet was live feeder fish, which he loved most. Started off with red rosies and as he grew switched to small and then larger gold fish. He would ocasionaly peck at tank algae. Hope this helps. Also how long have you had your oscar?

I'd try a variety of foods to see what the fish will take. I don't think there is any good evidence that garlic helps.
