Hi all just wondering what is the best way the lower the GH. My tanks GH is 140, PH 6.8. Also after my lck problem and fin rot, I can't get the tank water clear. It's green, I've done lot's of water changes, tryed accu-clear drops. Any solutions.

Thanks

GH of 140ppm isn't that high. Only around 8dGh. slightly hard, which is fine.
The only way to lower Gh is to use water that has a lower Gh, like distilled or RO/DI water.

We need to know more about your tank setup before we can look at greenwater solutions. Typically you only see GW in higher light tanks, like planted aquariums.

tank size?
lighting type?
lighting wattage?

Please test ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate if you have it.

Green Water

My tank is 30Gal with the Eclipse 2 filtration and illumination system. Two fluorescent lamps I think their 15 watt each 30 total. I have lots of plants doing very well. My NO2 is .1 and NH3 is .3.
