glass scratches

well the used tank i got has some scrathes in it, has anyone been successful taking scratches out of glass?

Try a google search, it takes several types of polishing compound and a lot of rubbing. Deep scratches won't polish out.

and fine scratches dissappear when you fill with water.

Hmm, i could be walking out on a limb here,

But whenever I get any scratches on my watch (not super deep scratches), I rub a little toothpaste on them..

you'd be absolutly amazed how good it works.
