Hi everyone!
I have an oranda that looses one to three scales every 2 weeks, they seem rip of his skin and he is not scratching against anything, there is nothing abrasive in the tank either and he does not have any other signs of disease. The scales grow back in 2 weeks or so. Is this normal? I touch him sometimes (very gentle to move him away when cleaning etc) and it could to be related to this.
I will stop handling him but I wanted to know if any salt or treatment to improve coat would help.
Thanks!
