Good deal?

I was wondering if a 55 gallon with an overflow for 30 dollars is a great deal? I don't know what an overflow does, is it necessary. I haven't seen these yet, but hopefully they're in good shape.

if it is a drilled tank then yes, i think a normal 55g would be a good deal at that price. overflow boxes that you buy after the fact cost more than that.
