I did a lot of research regarding the Fluval G Series and decided against them. For $320 you can get a more more efficient filter. I believe the only inherent advantage the G Series had over others was the built in filter heater. They are nice filters but far too pricey for what they do so be aware you're paying for a premium for an aesthetically pleasing filter rather than a filter that's better than the competition.
