got a free new big tank need input

Ok not much to say but i got a 3ft*4ft*4ft for a 12 pack of beers now im wondering what i need want to make it freshwater tropical. I want to know what kind of supplies i need not so much of fish yet. Heaters air pumps filters rock or sand. All input will be greatly appreciated.

You will need filter, heater adequate for the size of your tank. From those dimensions I would think a large one!!

Substrate is a choice for yourself, I personally like sand - I would decided what you would like to put in etc and then go from there.
