I need some advice, my blue Gourami has a sizable sore on its left side near the gill. It's pinkish like it could've rubbed on a rock or piece of wood when the lights went out but not sure. So I put it in a small hospital tank (2.5 Gal), and added a flat teaspoon of aquarium salt... I'm not sure what else I can add to the water that would help it heal or get rid of the illness it may have. I'm open to any and all suggestions please. Thank you

Is it healing do you think? If healing over I'd just keep up water changes.
It's been in the separate tank off and on and I think the salt may be helping.
Sounds great. If it gets worse or doesn't heal, then a photo may help (or as suits).
