I think this is definately a newbie question. I thought that one of my larger Harlequin Rasbora had developed a hideous disease, but when I looked closer I realised it was swimming around with most of a freeze dried bloodworm in its mouth, today being my aquarium's first ever 'variety treat day' with bloodworm and freeze dried brine shrimp on the menu. It has now been swimming around like this for 30 minutes and is starting to look distressed. This must have happened before, will it have the sense to spit it out?

Well he's gulping quite a bit but he's managed to eat the whole thing, then again eating a proportional 6ft sausage would make me out of breath too. Fish are great looking but not too bright, eh? I will break those things up more next time. Any thoughts on ensuring more placid fish get their share during feeding, as I have quite a few aggressive feeders.
