Freshwater system?

I don't know what kind of bug that is but I'm wondering if it's breeding near the water surface. Maybe get a lid for the tank? Try and keep it as closed off as possible? Try looking for some kind of fly tape or doing a home remedy for gnats? I would think your fish would pick them off but otherwise you'll have to trap them.

Thank you. I have a lid on my tank. I even taped it down. Just wanna make sure these bugs want hurt My fish

I wouldn't think they would hurt them as fish in the wild eat bugs. Plus I would think more bugs get into our systems then we really know about..

That being said anything has the potential to carry some nasty things with it especially live creatures. I personally haven't ever tried to cover my tanks or worried about bugs though.

And I'm not gonna lie I used to swat house flies and put them in my tanks for the goldfish lol.
