Green Polyp Leather

This is my first experience with coral. I bought this green polyp leather after reading they are hardy and easy to take care if. In the LFS, the polyps were out and looked beautiful. When I got home and after acclimating, I added him to the tank and noticed that the left side has a bit white fray. I understand he might be stressed for a bit after the move. Is this normal or a possibly an injury/disease I should be concerned about?

I have a leather mushroom Coral and it looked like yours for the first week. Now it is like it was when I bought it. It should get back to normal.
