We live on a farm and have a feedlot and we put goldfish in some of the tanks so I was wondering if I get to many guppies could I put some of them in the empty tanks without goldfish

I am not really sure what your question is. You put goldfish in the livestock's water supply and would like to know if doing the same with guppies would be okay?

Goldfish are pondfish and can withstand the coldwater environment of a pond. Guppies on the other hand are tropical and need a reliable source of heat to stay healthy.

I wouldn't recommend placing guppies into the water supply in your feedlot. Goldfish are better suited for this environment.

It is supposed to reduce on the amount of moss and bugs like mosquito larvae without harming the livestock

You absolutely can during the summer, just bring in the guppies when night temps dip below 55.
