Yes I agree that's why I was considering putting the new media in the filter in a separate baggy so when I have the funds I can get another one to replace the penguin and have seeded media for the new AQ and can set up another hospital qt tank with the penguin that way I have 2 maybe one hospital one qt.
I've had my 110/70 on my big tank for almost 5 years not 1 issue, in my personal opinion they are the best hob on the market hands down
