Hi all. I'm a new member but long time aquarium enthusist.
I'm now 48 but in when I was in my 20s I was addicted to aquariums. I had many tanks ranging from 5 gallon to a huge 360 gallon home made aquarium made of wood and glass.
Life progressed and I slowly moved away from the hobby. I now have a 12 yr old who is interested in the hobby and am jumping at the chance to get involved. We now have a 20 gallon tank for 5 cichlids but my goal is a 100 gallon saltwater reef tank. Patience will pay off I hope. I am a wealth of information for freshwater but admit my shortcommings with saltwater. I hope all the members will be my go to group for the setup and info preparing for the setup.

the people on the saltwater side will be able to answer just about any question you can come up with.
