Help asap!!!!!!!

I just got home with my new Amano Shrimp, acclimated them, and put them in the tank. Now, one of them keeps climbing in the part were the water comes out on the filter!!!!! Is this normal, and will he be able to survive in the filter???!! He won't stop climbing in there, and I can't stand over the tank 24/7!!! Please HELP!!!

He seems to be able to climb in and out at his own will..... Is that normal??? I also plugged the open spaces on the tank. The are both swimming around and fully active. Thanks!!!

Theres a lot of food build up on there for him. He's just looking for food. It won't kill him to be in there.

Ok.... So he won't die from climbing in there and he won't get stuck?? They are pretty big, so can they fight their way back out to the tank?? Thank you so much!!!!!!

If he can get out whenever he wants I would worry. I think that is pretty clever

Yeah, you'll enjoy them if they've already figured out the tank tricks lol, have fun with them!
