Help! I think I have freshwater copepods? But not sure...

I have noticed these little whiteish brownish parasites crawling on the rocks of my tank. I just cleaned the tank yesterday, and didnt add anything new to it. I have had snail problems before, and i dont think it is that. They almost look like little crawing nats or somthing. Anyone know what this could be? and what I should do?? I researched online and read that it could be freshwater copepods. I know nothing about these types of pest, but I really dont want them to ruin my tank...any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!
