Does anyone know if you can keep a livebearer in a 1-2 gallon aquarium. I need to know by thursday tomorrow.

Again, are you talking about a day or two until you can get something else or a permanent home? Live bearers need heat, a filter and they are messy( they poop a lot) so you really need to keep up on water changes. Even if you could provide these conditions in a 1 gallon tank that just isn't much of a home to provide for a fish!

for a day or 2 sure, however if its for even more then 2 days then absolutley not, nothing other then a few shrimp or a snail should be kept in a 1 or 2 gallon "death bowl"

Not permanately but if you can provide a stable temperature then they could give birth in one like a hatchery net. Or as a temporary home for a day or two yes but no not a permanant home.
