I'm dosing 1ml of Excel daily and then weekly dosing of Flourish Trace and Flourish. The Excel has really helped, I have no idea about the other two but I have them so might as well use them!

Spiro is a very stubborn algae. Have you been researching and combing through possible solutions? I was only able to beat it with algaefix. Since you don't like that option, have you heard of the "one two punch?"

Hey thanks! I'm reading the links now. I was pleased that it was just better than it was. LOL Guess I better step up my game. I could tear the whole tank down. Not like I don't have extras laying around. This one was a gift though so I'm not sure that wouldn't hurt some feelings.

Nevermind I see that it is plant safe, other wise I was going to suggest getting a hold of a copper test and taking the treatment to the max 1ppm that plants can handle.
