Help me ID my fish!

Hey guys I need help! Anyone know what fish this is? The shop I got it at just said it was an eel, it is mostly nocturnal and likes to bury itself in the rocks with only it's "nose" sticking out.

Well my brother got it for his 55 gal tank so I was trying to figure out if he could take care of it. But yes he already has it, any advice on care or tank mates to avoid?

Oh ok 55gs should be fine. And i dont have any experience but you can send gboy or nu-nu the eel a pm. I know they have one
