Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hello All,
I went on vacation recently (one week.) Upon returning I found my Bursa Trigger lying on the bottom of the tank. There are no outward signs of disease, he looks completely healthy.
I took some samples and found the PH to be pretty low (7.7) so I raised it over the past couple days (8.1). I also did a fairly sizable water change. Water quality is now very good.
He hasn't eaten for three days. He just lays around on the bottom of the tank. I can't find any information on the signs and symptoms of a fish that has been subjected to low PH levels.
Can someone advise me as to what I should do to help this guy? I've had him almost a year, he is almost 5 inches long his name is "Turkey the Trigger!" and he could use your help.
Thanks in advance.
