Okay so today i received my red tiger lotus and it came with two portions. One portion had the bulb and nice roots and some small leaves, the other had both roots and leaves but no bulb. How do I go about planting these? I've only ever grown a lotus straight from the bulb.

Thanks in advance

The one without the bulb, trim the roots down to about 1-1/2 inches and plant like you would any root plant. The bulb one trim the root's the same but try burying mostly just the roots. I've found planting the bulbs can often cause them to rot. If you plant the bulb a tiny bit in the substrate with the roots that will also work.
