Help please with Parrot fish Compatability

If you want cichlids you'll need a 55+ ... However you could put dwarf cichlids in there such as German Blue Rams. Angels are great fish too though. I have two in a community tank in a 30 gallon.

Parrots won't work they get to big but you could do a pair of rams or keyholes with some schooling fish and some bottom feeders

If this is a 36" x 12" 30gallon you could do a pair of Thorichthys meeki But only a pair and no tank mates.

You could do one angel, a pair of rams/apistos and a school of small fish.
