I have a blackmoor goldfish and he just sits at the bottom the of the tank. He has never done this till recently I've been cleaning tank weekly and checking ph and nitrate and ammonia. What could be wrong. He isnt eating either. I don't want my fish to die : (

Welcome to AA!

How long have you had the fish, and how long has the tank been setup? What are your ammonia, nitrIte, and nitrAte levels? These will help us figure out what's going on.

Also, moving to the FW - Sick Fish forum.

More info needed:
1. tank size
2. ammonia & NO2 levels
3. Size of fish, age
4. tank temp
5. any lumps, spots, dots, raised scale, bloated abdomen or swelling of body?
6. how long had this been happening?

The questions Jsoong posed are important to help determine what's wrong.

Additionally by cleaning, do you mean partial water changes? If so what % and do you use a gravel vacuum when doing so? Moors (all goldies) are pooping machines and need extra care in this area. Any tanks mates?
