Aquarium Advice Freak
Hello all,
Ok so my fish are starting to get bigger and starting to get on each others nerves so i was wanting to make something new in my tank. i was thinking about going to the creek near my house and getting some rocks and slate to build them something with a lot of paths and holes so that they can get around easier. but i was wondering what steps i need to take in cleaning the rocks to ensure that in not bringing anything foreign into my tank?
I have 4 cichlids, 2 plecos, and about 16 assassin snails. I have a 45G tank. i have three of the "cichlid stones" of verious sizes but they will not go in them...ever!
here are some picks of my tank now.

Any other materials that are easily cleaned that could be cool in the tank please note!
