Help with cleaning of tank

I got this tank free and it was not well taken care of.. it loaded with water deposits and built on food.. who owned it before me did not take care of it.. the fish is a chilids of some short i think.. i will post him soon when i get a better picture of him. i have no clue but he is too big even for my other tanks and i have him in a cooler with his temp probe and bubble for air.. but this tank is awful and i need a quick remendy soon so please help and thank you and Oscar thanks you too and his buddy with him....:(

You could also try some concentrated lemon juice. It's a little bit more acidic than vinegar. Or try full strength vinegar. Unless you buy commercial vinegar, it's likely the vinegar you are using is already diluted with water.
