Help with coral getting taken over by algae/invasive coral

This coral has been gettin invated by this other species of coral or algae. Im very new to salt water and im unsure what to do to save this beautiful coral. I would not have taken on a tank of this magnitude with such little knowledge but it was facing destruction so i felt obligated to take it on. Any sort of help would be extremly helpfull. Please respond with questions or if you would like more pictures/information

Yeah those corals need to be separated. When corals get that close they do either sweepers that can damage the other coral or chemical warfare that will affect the tank. there needs to be 4-5 inches between them.
