Keeping multiple bettas in one tank is very possible and actually done quite a bit among experienced keepers. You should do some research on betta sororities before advising against something.

I've heard of 4 males in a planted 55 before. very possible. just like people say it's impossible to have a DG with bettas. it's possible just up to the fishes temperament

Its not recommended as impossible, just not recommended as there's a very likely chance of fighting.
